Christopher Peter Meloni has been known as a well-known American actor for many years. The actor is best known for the roles he played in "Law and Order Special Victims Unit". At the age of 18, he began to develop an interest in acting. In his school, the University of Colorado at Boulder, he studied acting. Although he worked in TV and film, his roles on the small screen are what brought him much recognition. He is able to play characters from both good and bad sides in the law enforcement system. He has the ability to draw the attention of viewers easily. He played the role of a serial killer in the first TV show he appeared in as well as later portrayed of an NYPD detective. His performances on small screens are rewarded with numerous Emmy Awards nominations and PRISM Awards. One of his most striking face features is thought to be the sharp blue eye that has been instrumental in his portrayal of characters that are rough and charismatic. The People's Magazine's list of Sexiest Men Alive included him.
